Sandy has three decades of experience as a Philanthropic Sales Professional (Fundraising) and in public relations and marketing with a variety of institutions seeking philanthropic support. He has conducted over 25 campaign feasibility studies and worked on more than 16 capital campaigns with goals totaling more than $1 billion.

With over 30 years of experience, Sandy is an accomplished, performance-focused professional with extensive experience in not-for-profit management and fundraising. With an eye on the latest research in business, consumer, and behavioural sciences, Sandy founded Askology to help organizations craft compelling multi-year strategic plans, maximize their sector presence, and manage their sustainable development.
His philanthropic leadership has raised funds over $1.5 billion, while helming leading organizations as Vice President of Development for Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, Vice President & Campaign Director for the Royal Ontario Museum Renaissance Campaign, Director of Communications and Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters Toronto, and Chief Campaign, Development & Alumni Officer for the Ontario College of Art and Design University.
As Co-Managing Partner at Inspire Consulting, Canada’s second-largest consulting firm of its kind in a network of international partners, he worked with clients such as the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), One Kid’s Place, Niagara Child and Youth Services, TVO, and Boy Scouts of Canada.
Sandy is a graduate of Ryerson and York Universities and the University of Madison-Wisconsin. He has completed additional work in neurolinguistic programming, coaching, and consumer psychology.
A lover of the creative arts, Sandy enjoys collecting paintings and sculpture from up-and-coming artists.
